Summit Economics was formed in 2008 by Dave Bamberger,
Tom Binnings and Paul Rochette to bring together decades
of research and consulting experience under a single
corporate umbrella. Mike Anderson and Tucker Hart Adams
were added to the Summit Economics team as a senior
partners in 2010.

Reaching the summit: Partners pool economics expertise
Dave Bamberger Managing Director, has more than
40 years of experience in economic research, analysis
and consulting. He received his undergraduate degree in
economics from the University of Texas, where he also
did graduate work and research in econometrics and
economic modeling. He has authored hundreds of research
reports, an economics newsletter, a monthly newspaper
column and articles appearing in national professional
and trade publications. He is also frequently quoted in
the local media. Dave brings a wealth of experience in
applied economics, market research and business
consulting to the Summit Economics team.

Tom Binnings Senior Partner, has more than 30
years of experience in project management, economic and
market research, real estate development, business
analytics and strategic planning. He received his
undergraduate degree in economics from Colorado College
and his MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College
where he assisted with faculty research. His clients
include nonprofit organizations, local governments,
small businesses and large corporations. He has taught
undergraduate and graduate level courses at Regis and
Webster Universities as an adjunct professor. Tom
brings strategic perspectives to all of his work,
especially public/private initiatives and business and

Paul Rochette Senior Partner, has more than 25
years of experience in economic research and analysis.
He received his undergraduate degree in economics from
the University of Colorado, and his master’s degree from
the American Graduate School of International
Management. His career has included serving as a
financial economist for a large utility, a regional
planner both in the US and in Africa, and as an adjunct
instructor in macroeconomics, international business and
marketing at Webster, Phoenix and Colorado Technical
Universities. Paul has extensive experience in the
mining, utilities and renewable energy industries in
fiscal and socio-economic impact analysis.

Mike Anderson Senior Partner, has over 25 years
of experience in public finance, municipal management,
and fiscal/economic impact analysis. He received a B.A.
degree in economics from University of Colorado. His
career has included serving as a financial economist,
budget director, and city manager for local government.
He has specialized experience and expertise in financial
feasibility studies, economic analysis, fiscal impact
analysis, economic development, public policy and public
infrastructure finance. Having managed a large
full-service municipality, he brings a unique
perspective to urban economics and public policy
projects.
Tucker Adams Senior Partner, has over 30 years
of experience in economic research, analysis and
forecasting of Colorado and the Mountain West. She
served for ten years as vice president and chief
economist of United Banks of Colorado (now Wells Fargo),
then ran a successful consulting firm, The Adams Group
Inc., for 22 years. She has an undergraduate degree in
mathematics from Wellesley College and an MA and PhD in
economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder,
where she specialized in econometrics and monetary
policy. She writes a monthly column for ColoradoBiz
magazine and her newsletter, Today’s Economy: A Colorado
Viewpoint, has been published for 30 years.
